Brainstorming Ideas In this assignment, I brainstormed ideas of the composition for my self portrait. I chose the idea with using rainbow colors to shade in the portrait. Compositional Photo In this assignment, i took multiple photos of myself as a reference and chose this one for the final. Final Sketch In this assignment, I made an outline of my compositional photo. In Progress Photos In this assignment, I colored in the outline with prismacolor pencils. I used random colors from the rainbow to do the shading. Final Drawing Finished! I used black and gold paint for the background.

Brainstorming Ideas In this assignment, I had to come up with 15 compositional ideas of things to draw that included something see-through. I ended up choosing the saran wrap idea. Colored Pencil Forms In this assignment, I colored a sphere and a cone on black, gray, and brown paper. I used a variety of colors and made sure to use white and three other colors in each form. Colored Pencil Fruit or Veggie In this assignment, I colored an apple using prismacolor pencils on black paper. Pastel Forms In this assignment, I colored a sphere and a cone using prismacolor pastels on black paper. Pastel Warm/Cool Colored Eggs In this assignment, I had the option to either make the eggs warm colors and the background cool colors or the eggs cool colors and the background warm colors. I chose the first option and used pastels to color the piece. Wrapped Candy In this assignment, I had to draw two candies with clear wrappers. I colored the lemonhead with colored pencils and did the smarties with pastels.
1 Point Perspective In this assignment, I sketched a view of a road and a view from inside a room to learn how to do 1 point perspective. 2 Point Perspective In this assignment, I sketched two views of a city with trees, buildings, and roads, using 2 point perspective and 2 vanishing points. 3 Point Perspective In this assignment, I used 3 point perspective to draw a view of a city from bird's eye view, and and the view of a skyscraper from worm's eye view. Forced Perspective In this assignment, I had to take a picture using perspective that looked silly and proportionally incorrect.
White Value Chart and Forms In this assignment, I created two value charts and two shaded spheres. One was done with white prismacolor colored pencil, and one was done with white chalk pastels. White on Black Ribbon Drawing In this assignment, I taped a white strip of paper to black construction paper and then colored a drawing of the ribbon below with white colored pencil. 3 Fabric Drawings In this assignment, I watched tutorials on how to draw fabric and then drew fabric with three different mediums: graphite, charcoal, and white colored pencil. I drew the fabrics on black, gray, and brown colored paper.
Still Life Reference Photos In this assignment, I took 5 possible reference photos to be used for the final sketch. The third one was used as reference for the final project. 4 Introductory Drawings In this assignment, I had to draw a portrait, a hand, a pair of shoes with laces, and a street view as an introductory drawing assessment. Random Object Photo Composition Assignment In this assignment, I had to choose one object to photograph in 9 different settings while focusing on composition. I focused on the background, color, camera angle, and foreground when photographing my object. Value Chart and Shaded Forms In this assignment, I shaded in a 9-step value chart with pencil from darkest to lightest. I then drew four 3D objects and shaded them. Blind Contour Hand Drawings In this assignment, I drew three hands using just contour lines and without picking up my pen. I was drawing it blind and only looked at my hand while I sketched these. Contour Hand Drawings In this assignment, I drew three hands using just contour lines and without picking up my pen. I was allowed to look at the canvas while I drew these hands. Contour Line Shoe and Backpack In this assignment, I drew a picture of a backpack and a shoe only using contour lines and without picking up my pen. The drawing of the shoe is life-sized.
